Chimney Sweep & Chimney Repair in Shelton, CT
Shelton, just up the Housatonic River from Stratford, has a wide mix of homes — older houses near downtown and the riverfront, and newer subdivisions and condo communities on the hills. That means we see everything from traditional masonry chimneys to prefabricated fireplaces with metal chimney chases.
Nutmeg State Chimney is a family-owned chimney company that has served Connecticut since 2004. Our CSIA-trained technicians and licensed masons handle everything from routine sweeps to full chimney restorations in Shelton, always with a documented, no-pressure process.
Chimney care for Shelton homes
Prefabricated chimneys need different care than brick ones. Their chase covers rust and let water into the structure, and their fireplaces need the right parts when repaired. For masonry chimneys we handle crowns, tuck pointing and liners. Whatever you have, our fireplace repair team handles fireboxes, dampers and hearths on both wood and gas fireplaces.
